Novara Street Festival

Thinking now for that great week, named Novara Street Festival i could say just a thing- i miss it so much!!! It was la festa of the street music, art and imagination! A creative space for artists from all around the world and great enjoyment for the all the others from children to old!
From 7 till 15 June me, Lucie and Davide T. with another people of CSV-Novara office Simona, Yuri and Marco worked on La strada della solidarita. What’s that??? I’ll give you the answer right now- it’s a place where the voluntary organizations from all Novara province could promote their activities but also receive ‘offerta’ selling some of their products.
What was our work to do??? To create the Strada and the vision of it. We assembled all the tents, tables and chairs, we put the lamps, cables and posters, we support the activities and gave information when somebody asked us or needed something, we just spoke with the people and sharing what and why we do-EVS!!!
We were staffJ It was nice feeling to know that I’m part of something with the other people involved in, I liked the idea that I had a badge with my name on it! I liked that I still keep this small piece of paper that record me for one unforgettable week.
Another great thing of the festival - it was itinerant and we moved in different cities-
2 days in Ollegio, 2 days in the wonderful town of Lago d’Orta, just one in Galliate with the beautiful castle and 3 days in Novara, Novara, Novara!!!
Every place has its own charm and every place impact in different way. But the days spent in the città di lago d’orta for me were the nicest!!! I love this small, a little bit romantic and for sure very Italian place.
Here i did my first bath in the lake for this summer and took all the kisses of the sun, here i felt that in general the life is work in any conditions but also sometimes is just champagne, strawberries and million dreams. Here i had fun, laughed, watched an amazing shows, listened unique music and met interesting people. What else??? J)) Full happiness!!!
I’ll miss the magic of that 2 days!
Well, if you think that all was perfect, i had to say it wasn’t!!! Unfortunally the weather was a little bit against us and every day we hoped that it wouldn’t rain!!! Eh, the bad weather was something that we couldn’t control....anyway with or without rain the festival was great!!!
Could say a big thank you to all the people of CSV-Novara, to Lucie, to Davide T. ( the last days of the festival we lived in his house, thanks;), to all the other people who i met !
